3,000 people may have been exposed to bloodborne infections at NJ surgery facility

A New Jersey surgery center has sent letters to 3,000 patients informing them they may have been been exposed to bloodborne infections including Hepatitis and HIV. State health officials say the facility had "lapses in infection control in sterilization/cleaning instruments and the injection of medications."
